Highlights

As we move forward from Covid-19, it is time for businesses and institutions to reflect on the solutions designed to face its challenges and on ways to anchor them in the long-term. In light of the new rules of the game the pandemic has set, the world’s most advanced economies have to think new management, research and growth models for keeping pace with emerging economies.

In particular, France and Japan ought to move forward, find ways of becoming more resilient and creative, as well as reclaim a leading position in innovation. By focusing on how both countries can successfully transition to the digital, design innovative partnerships, efficiently mobilize financial resources and generate new ideas, we will grasp an overarching picture of the future opportunities awaiting their economies and bilateral relation.

To attempt to address these issues, the 2023 French-Japanese Business Summit will gather top-level international speakers from diverse backgrounds – from leading companies, startups and institutions to academics, bridging disciplines like social sciences, robotics and digital art – to share their visions, their strategies, and the opportunities they foresee.

Since its foundation in 1918, the French Chamber of Commerce has been playing a decisive role in fostering and reinforcing partnerships between Japanese and French companies and more profoundly, in bringing France and Japan together in many ways. By allowing them to share their visions, learn from each other and try to find common solutions to the current challenges our societies are facing, the Business Summit will once again be a unique opportunity to contribute further to the longstanding connection between our two countries.
